Dear non-Chinese speaking faculty and staff,

To facilitate your work and life in China, we are pleased to offer the following Chinese language courses this semester:

Course 1: Pinyin (for beginning level and above)
Targeted learners: people who are interested in learning, correcting and improving their Chinese pronunciation.
Schedule & venue: 13:00-14:00 on every Wednesday, T3-205

Course 2: Practical Chinese (for beginning level)
Targeted learners: people who intend to learn elementary Chinese so as to grasp basic conversation Chinese for their practical needs.
Schedule & venue: 13:00-15:00 on every Thursday , T3-205

Course 3: Introduction to Chinese characters (for beginning level and above)
Targeted learners: people who are interested in learning Chinese characters and /or people who would like to improve their efficiency of recognizing Chinese characters.
Schedule & venue: 11:00-12:00 on every Wednesday, T3-205

Course 4: Travel in Chinese (for elementary I level and above)
Targeted learners: people who are interested in learning Chinese for travelling purpose.
Schedule & venue: 13:00-15:00 on every Monday, T3-205

Course 5: Learning Chinese & Travelling in China (for Elementary II level and above)
Targeted learners: People who are interested in learning Chinese and gaining basic cultural knowledge of some popular tourist cities (or sites) in China. Learners should have learned Chinese over one year and have recognized more than 300 basic Chinese characters.  
Schedule & venue: 10:00-12:00 on every Monday, T3-205

Course 6: Visual-Audio-Oral Chinese (for pre-intermediate-level and above)
Targeted learners: people who have studied Chinese for 3 semesters, with 2-3 class hours in each week or are able to recognize more than 800 characters and can manage most communication in Chinese in daily life.
Schedule & venue: 10:00-12:00 on every Friday, T3-205

For those who are interested in taking any of the above courses, please fill out the  enrollment form (please click the link to download the file) and submit a hard copy to Ms. Yvonne Yu before 5pm on September 27, 2017 (next Wednesday). Ms.Yu's office is at T3-309-R4.
