AIMS & OBJECTIVES
This course aims to improve students’ ability to describe the specific features and trends found in infographics, as well as to write summaries about the information presented in various kinds of visual data – including a variety of charts, diagrams, graphs, tables, maps, and floorplans. The course will utilise infographics related to various topics and found in the media. The primary focus will be on written descriptions and summaries, although there will also be opportunities for students to verbally present and discuss visual representations of data and to create their own infographic.

CILO 5 | Write a summary of the information contained within an infographic following an appropriately structured written format. |
