Situated in Zhuhai, Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) was jointly founded by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). It is the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between the Mainland and Hong Kong. UIC shoulders the historical mission of advancing the internationalization of higher education and taking the lead in implementing liberal arts education in China.

With English as the medium of instruction, UIC's education is of international standards with high-calibre academic performance. The college has established the Faculty of Business and Management, School of Culture and Creativity, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, and School of General Education, in addition to the Graduate School. Altogether UIC offers over 9,000 students around 30 undergraduate programmes in 13 departments as well as research and taught postgraduate programmes. Undergraduates receive HKBU Bachelor's Degrees and UIC Graduation Certificates, and postgraduates earn HKBU degrees.
