Student English Learning Hub (SELH) comprises a wide range support services offered by the SGE English Language Centre, to help students improve their English language outside the classroom. Students can approach the help desk, make appointments for one-to-one tutoring, sign-up for assistance programs, or participate in speaking corners and clubs. Students can check the program schedules and make appointments via the SELH iSpace.

If students have questions about learning or using English, they can come to the English Help Desk at T3-304 to talk with one of our English teachers. The Help Desk operates on a walk-in basis and no appointment is needed.

The Speaking Assistance Programme (SAP) offers individual or group assistance for students to practice all aspects of speech delivery, such as pronunciation, enunciation, and body language. IELTS speaking exam practice is also available. In addition, the Writing Assistance Program (WAP) helps students to learn more about specific aspects of writing, such as sentence structure, verb tenses, transitions, and text organization. Furthermore, students can sign up for the more advanced English Writing Enhancement Program (EWEP).
