UIC Lion Dance and Dragon Dance Team participated in the 15^th National University Students Lion Dance and Dragon Dance Championship hosted by Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) on August 23^rd. 2023, achieving great success and winning many awards. UIC ranked top in five performance items and won prizes in the overall score of teams. Additionally, the team gained Sports Ethics and Style Award in both Lion Dance and Dragon Dance projects, with teacher Han Ying wining Sports Ethics and Style Award Coach, YiYao Zi, Jiayi Wang and Hongyu Lu winning Sports Ethics and Style Award Athlete. Behind the grand success was the team’s great effort and dogged perseverance, revealing the value of UIC’s liberal arts education.
