Dear students,
In the splendid spring of the south, we are delighted to announce that the 15th edition of the "Chinese Creative Culture Competition" organized by UIC is now open for registration. Since its inception in 2005, UIC has successfully hosted this competition for fourteen years. With a focus on cultural creativity showcased through stage performances, the competition aims to highlight students' appreciation and understanding of traditional Chinese culture, extending beyond the classroom and encompassing a diverse range of campus performances. In 2024, we are excited to host the 15th Annual Chinese Creative Culture Competition and warmly invite you to participate.

II. Competition Process:

Stage Performance Contest | April 10-16 | April 18-19 (18:00) | Contestants need to revolve around excellent Chinese culture and select materials for a 10-12 minutes performance. We encourage originality and discourage direct adaptations of existing films, TV dramas or theatrical plays. | May 7 | May 8 (19:00) |
Host Recruitment | April 23 (18:00) | Instructions: Please prepare a bilingual self-introduction (within 1 minute) and a bilingual opening hosting of the creative contest (about 2 minutes, off-script required). |
III. Awards:
The competition will invite internal and external judges to evaluate stage performances. Prizes will include first, second, and third prize, three excellence prizes, as well as best actress and best actor. Winners will receive trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.

IV. How to Register:
Contestants are required to fill in the attached registration form and submit it to sge-clcc@uic.edu.cn before 12:00 PM on April 16. Once your registration is successful, we will notify the contact person listed in your registration form about the preliminary round's order, venue, and other relevant information via email.
