Introduction

Chinese Language and Culture Centre (CLCC) / Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Centre (PPEC) is dedicated to cultural literacy education. Through innovative teaching and a series of academic and cultural activities—including lectures, seminars, and creative competitions—it aims to impart knowledge in disciplines such as Chinese language, literature, history, and philosophy. The centre offers university core courses, general electives, and international Chinese language programs for undergraduate students, while also undertaking instruction in ideological and political theory courses. Guided by the principle of fostering virtue and nurturing talent, the centre embraces the concept of "holistic ideological and political education." It prioritizes classroom teaching as the main channel, supplemented by practical learning, allowing students to personally experience the value and charm of Chinese language and culture. This approach stimulates creative and cultural talents while cultivating an open and innovative humanistic spirit.
